DVE-TV ... news by the kids, for the kids and of the kids - since 1991.

DVE-TV is a live, daily television show produced by sixth graders at Delaware Valley Elementary School in Milford, PA.  The  program was launched in 1991 by then-principal Sonya K. Cole, who retired from DVES in 2008.  Now celebrating its 20th school year (2011-2012), more than 85% of the sixth grade class is involved in coming to school and hour early to retrieve, read, and re-write daily news, features, sports, and weather -- and frequently interview special guests for their live broadcast.

DVE-TV airs weekly on public television in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania as well as on the Internet.  Student reporters have traveled up and down the Eastern United States for on-location interviews with local, state, national and world leaders, as well as role models that they admire and look up to.  These include presidents, senators, mayors, congresspersons, news broadcasters and writers, musicians, athletes, environmentalists, historians, and countless other well-respected figures.
