The Mars Habitat was a positive experience. It really taught students how to work together and taught good building and problem solving skills. The Mars Habitat enforces both responcibility and respect. I recommend doing it again.

The project was super fun, but I was upset that we couldn't decorate the inside of the habitat.

Mr.Smith, i am curious how duct tape and plastic protects us from the long term effects of radiation, With no magnetosphere,plastic, oxygen from the fans, and duct tape would not help at all... just sayin =)

Hey commander, the mars habitat was lots of fun. I think it really helps kids to have fun&experience science at the same time. Haha although first period always had a problem unrolling what 6th period did or trying to get the stupid fans working i think we alll had a great time doing it. I hope ypu continue to do this for years to come, its reaally great. Welll goodluck with uploading the rest of your videos and im really gonna miss 1st period next year(: its been lots of fun.
